Venue of LASTE 2019

The conference is going to be held in the premises of Swiss Hotel in Izmir, a marvellous city of Turkey on the very Aegean coast. İzmir is one of Turkey's most pleasant cities: its streets are shaded by palm trees, the sideways are beautiful and the houses elegant. İzmir continues to be a focal point for tourism and entertainment. The city's coastline is renowned for its fish restaurants along the coast as well as its bars, discos and nightclubs whereas its hinterlands are rich in monuments and ruins which tell the tale of countless ancient civilizations.

Alfredo BilopolskyProfessor, UTN, Argentina

Prof. Alfredo Bilopolsky is Teacher of English from Instituto Nacional Superior del Profesorado Técnico (UTN). English and ICT Coordinator at Escuela Scholem Aleijem. He has delivered workshops on Teaching Young and Very Young Learners in different conferences in Argentina. He is co-author of the Video "Descubriendo en Inglés". He is an Assistant Lecturer in Didactics II and Residencia Pedagógica at INSPT UTN. He is a teacher trainer for Pearson. He has completed a postgraduate course in ICT and Education at Universidad CAECE. He is a member of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) and he is a Google Certified Educator.

Joseph Anthony Narciso Z. TiangcoAssociate Professor, Taiwan

Dr. Joseph Anthony Narciso Z. Tiangco is a Filipino national who is currently an associate professor at Shu-Te University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. From 2013-2015, he worked in Gaziantep, Turkey as a university faculty with a joint appointment in the Guidance and Counseling Psychology Department and English Language Teaching Department. He is the co-founder and a volunteer for a Taiwan registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO) called the Taiwan Love and Hope International Care Association which provides educational and charitable support to Syrian refugees living in Gaziantep. The NPO conducts e-learning projects for Syrian, Filipino, and Taiwanese students. In Taiwan, Dr. Tiangco works with students at different grade levels from elementary to higher education and even at the corporate/organizational level running training programs.

Olga is a chartered developmental psychologist and interested in human development from birth to adolescence with a special interest in socio-cognitive, emotional and pro-social development. Olga has been working as a researcher since 2004, after completing her MSc in Experimental and Cognitive Psychology, in research projects funded by EU. Olga has participated in numerous national, international, EU and interdisciplinary research projects and worked as a counsellor in various educational and clinical settings. She has worked in various Institutions of Higher Education leading different modules at undergraduate and postgraduate and has served as Director in Psychology Courses. Her work has been presented in international conferences and published in journals, books and websites.

She has participated in several international conventions representing BETA Bolivia.
